Bobcat, just wanted to let you know I'm a big fan of your work. Matter of fact, I just recently realized that you're the author behind a bunch of my Equestria Daily favorites! I don't know if you're the first fanfic writer to use von Richthofen as Soarin's last name, but it was a such a perfect reference I couldn't resist borrowing it for a comment I made over in this piece here: [link] . I ended up dropping a plug for you after I explained the nature of the reference in a follow-up comment; even if you aren't the person that thought it up first, your stuff is so good you deserve some props regardless! I was in fact the first one to come up with it (or if I wasn't, I came up with it independently. Then again, Soarin doesn't get all that much love unless he's in rule 34 fanart with Rainbow Dash). Thanks for the plug and the nice words.

If anything, it was probably inspired by that picture someone did of Rainbow Dash playing with a turtle. I was disappointed that the falcon didn't win, and I thought it was sort of a meh episode on the whole (so far, the only episodes I really liked were episodes 5 and 6, go Sweetie Belle!), but I'm glad the falcon won the race before the ponies literally moved the goalposts on it.

Yeah. I've given up on writing pony-fics, because a lot of the fandom just disturbs me. But I do appreciate all the attention I've gotten in the past.
